Who The What

Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch

Hopefully you can tell from everything here that I'm not a doctor and I'm not a health coach. I'm not here to tell you what to buy or what supplements can cure. I'm a born-again health nut who recently joined a multi level marketing company, which basically means I'm a very questionable guest to have at a party.

What I want to do here is start a conversation. I /love/ talking about health. I love conceptualizing health, idolizing health, striving for health. It consumes me. It fascinates me. I wasn't always like this (maybe a blessing?). I grew up on cheez-its and allopathy and didn't think twice about that until I met the man who became my husband. He's a chiropractor's son and was raised on homemade kombucha and vitamins.

He is who started the ball rolling for me. And I finally started to wonder why health was sold at the other end of a white prescription pad. Ten years later hat wonder has grown. I've become curious. Insatiable. And funnily enough that feels pretty dangerous these days.

This blog is about sharing what I've learned over the past decade and also to inspire you to become curious about yourself. To ask questions with your cells' best interest in mind. To make you think about profusion and fats and milligrams and all kinds of weird stuff like that.

To make you question not just the data of what you're being told but the source of what you're being told. And the sources for *that* source. Because health shouldn't be a game of telephone where you trust the person whispering in your ear because they're the only option. Health is your right. And when it's denied to you it is okay for it to become your fight.
